About

AgeWell

AgeWell was founded by medical professionals who have seen how the current medical system fails people and decided to something about it.

We believe healing begins with being heard. As both an LGBTQ+ owned and woman-owned practice, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive space for all. Our approach is different—because you deserve results that address the actual cause.

We treat the body as a whole, not just isolated symptoms. That means we look deeper, often addressing areas that other professionals overlook. No case is too complex or too far gone, and no one gets turned away. If we cannot find a solution, we will connect you with those who can.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or seeking to move with greater ease, we listen closely and partner with you every step of the way. Here, your voice matters. Your experience matters. And your healing journey is honored with thoughtful, individualized care.

Meet the Team

  • Sabrina Seera

    FOUNDER - EXERCISE SPECIALIST

Sabrina Seera’s journey as an exercise specialist includes her time spent in the realm of physical therapy where she has been involved in various stages of patient care, from inpatient rehab to aqua therapy and sports injury recovery. After 8 years of practice in healthcare, Sabrina founded AgeWell to focus on delivering impactful results instead of meeting unrealistic productivity demands to appease insurance companies that refuse to cover client care.

Her journey as a medical professional actually started off as a patient - when she first attended physical therapy for knee, neck and hip pain due to scoliosis at the age of 15. Although the therapy interventions she experienced helped reduce her pain, nothing addressed the root cause of scoliosis, which left her feeling like she had no option but to progress in her disease. Refusing to accept this, Sabrina decided to find her own answers, leading her to grow and gain the expertise required to address conditions such as scoliosis with the option to not just hold on or maintain, but to recover and thrive.

Sabrina has a comprehensive perspective when it comes to health, bringing knowledge and experience as both patient and practitioner. This perspective inspires her to truly connect with her clients, delivering results, hope and the awareness needed to take the lead in your health journey.

Sabrina enjoys connecting - with humans (sometimes), animals, and nature and can often be found laying out in the sun reading a book, swimming with sharks or freeclimbing a cliff that would give her wife a heart attack if only she knew.

  • Katherine Clark

    CO-FOUNDER - EXERCISE SPECIALIST

Katherine is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong passion for helping others regain movement and improve their quality of life. Her journey into the field is rooted in both personal experience and professional dedication.

After undergoing a full year of physical and occupational therapy herself, Katherine developed a deep appreciation for the impact that skilled movement and compassionate care can have on someone’s recovery. This experience became a driving force behind her commitment to support others through their own recovery journey.

Katherine holds a Kinesiology degree and is currently working toward becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). She has experience as an Exercise Specialist working in both inpatient and outpatient orthopedics, as well as in spinal cord and neurorehabilitation settings where she has worked with individuals recovering from various injuries, surgeries, and neurological conditions.

Outside of work, Katherine enjoys traveling with her husband and friends, engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming and spending time with her dogs.

  • Dana Seera

    CO-FOUNDER - CHIEF RESEARCH OFFICER

Dana Seera’s career includes history as a medical assistant and podiatric surgical technician. She is naturally inquisitive and compassionate, driving her to constantly question why things are the way they are and strive to discover the best options for health and wellness. Dana drives the research and development behind the work at AgeWell.

Outside of AgeWell Dana enjoys being surrounded in nature, laughing at ridiculous memes, reading the latest tale in her sapphic book club, and rolling her eyes at her perfectly chiseled wife (Sabrina).

FAQs

  • AgeWelll is not your average personal training or physical therapy practice. Unlike personal trainers, AgeWell is founded by medical professionals who have dedicated their lives to not only repairing the body, but to optimizing it as well. While most personal trainers are causing pain and dysfunction with a ‘no pain no gain’ mentality, AgeWell practitioners know that your training should restore your body, not break it down.

We differ from physical therapy practices as well. Physical therapy clinics tend to be limited to addressing only one part of the body at the time, while AgeWell’s training methodology addresses the body as a whole, allowing us to resolve pain and restore hope to many who have not found relief from their prior physical therapy encounters.

  • At AgeWell, we have a collection of expertise and personal experience that would state that yes, scoliosis is reversible. Most of our clients have scoliosis or a related spinal condition and have sought us out due to the outstanding results we achieve. Our dream at AgeWell is to share our methodology with school systems - teaching our future generation how to move and breath at an age where we can alter the development of the body before dysfunction even has a chance to settle in.

  • Pain in the body is usually a result from dysfunction. Dysfunction in the body, is the ability of one part to fulfill the role of another part - it is the negative aspect of resilience. This dysfunction is caused by disconnection, by a lack of integration. When the body is no longer operating in homeostasis as a balanced, whole system it falls apart. It enters pain.

This pain can either be created in the present, or inherited from past generations. Regardless of where it originates, it is our responsibility to decide what comes from it - whether we live with and solidify the pain, or decide that this pattern of pain is not enough, and work to create and pass down something better.

  • The truth is, one answer does not fit every situation. However, at AgeWell, we can confidently say that if we work together we can cause change. We have handled numerous spinal conditions where a surgeon told someone they would never walk again, or stand again, or be themselves again. And when AgeWell came into the picture, the narrative changed. They walked, they stood, the curvature in their spine reduced 10 degrees.

Anything is possible. And when someone tells you its not, that is a sure sign that you need a second opinion.

  • Tinder! Just kidding. Kind of. Sabrina and Dana met in New York City, through Tinder, and were married 2 years later.

Katherine and Sabrina grew up together - they’re cousins.

“We not only bring that we are here to fix things vibe, we also bring the you’re home, you’re family vibe.” - Sabrina
